Earth Day Beach Cleanup
Join the Bocas Research Station in our annual celebration of Earth Day, April 22. The event begins with a beach clean-up and continues in Bocas Town with a parade and fair.
Nature Fair
Every June, join the Bocas Research Station in exploring the underwater world of corals and colorful fish while riding in a glass-bottom boat. Be a junior scientist and learn about plants and trees of the rainforest or see live frogs up close. At the nature fair, there are crafts, contests, cultural and nature activities and family fun for everyone. Admission is free.
International Sea Fair
Join us in September as we celebrate the International Bocas Sea Fair! This annual event is held on the road that runs parallel to the coast along the Istmito Beach in the town of Bocas del Toro on Colón Island. At the fair, Bocas Research Station will have an information stand where you can sign up for a tour and learn more about our outreach programs.
