One day each year is designated as the International Day of Women and Girls in science. Let’s make it every day!
We work in out-of-the-way places. We speak many languages. We discover new species and unravel the complexities of ecosystems. We write grant proposals. We climb mountains and dive on reefs. We analyze complex data. We travel and experience new cultures. We look under rocks. We purchase supplies. We maintain online library collections. We give talks to school kids.
We do everything it takes to discover and share new knowledge about the world’s tropics.
