“Linking Environmental Conditions Across the Landscape and Seascape of Bahia Almirante to Biodiversity and to Human Well-Being”

Dear Friends,

I would like to invite you to attend a 1-day symposium to be held at the Tupper Center in STRI in Panama City, on the 27th of March.  We are presenting a series of talks on the theme of “Linking Environmental Conditions Across the Landscape and Seascape of Bahia Almirante to Biodiversity and to Human Well-Being” to celebrate 20 years since in inauguration of the Bocas del Toro Research Station.  The talks will highlight the diverse and exciting research that is happening in Bocas del Toro in and around Bahia Almirante.  We have set aside time during the day to foster conversation with local stakeholders (from Bocas and from Panama City) about environmental concerns for the region.

Some talks will be in English and others in Spanish, but simultaneous translation will be available for all of them.

The symposium is open to anyone who might be interested.  I have attached the schedule of talks in English and in Spanish.
