For
Journalists
STRI welcomes local and international journalists to explore our science, ask questions and visit our research sites. We’ll help you track down expert sources on dozens of from coral reef biology to rainforests to zooarchaeology. While we will respond as soon as we can to queries with deadlines, it’s much more effective to organize visits for feature reporting with as much lead time as possible.
Our team prepares press releases about our latest discoveries, writes original web stories, produces videos on Smithsonian research and photographs scientists and their research organisms in the field and lab. Much of this material is available upon request. Please contact us for more information.
